Sending a Muslim Mother to Umrah

We all know at least one mother who never got the chance to slow down. The one who’s spent years putting everyone else first — her kids, family, work, survival. The one who didn’t break down because she didn’t have the luxury to. The one who has given more than she ever received, who stayed patient even when the world did not make that easy.

For many Muslim mothers, the dream of going to Umrah — standing in front of the Kaaba and asking Allah for peace, healing, and renewal — is something they’ve kept to themselves. Not because they don’t want it, but because life demands other priorities:
  • Bills
  • Food
  • Safety
  • Stability
  • Children
This fundraiser is about changing that, even if just for one woman.

What This Campaign Is For

We’re raising funds to send one Muslim mother in need on a fully paid Umrah trip. That means covering:
  • Round-trip flights
  • Visa and transport
  • Accommodation
  • Basic trip support and onboarding

We want her to walk into the haram with nothing on her mind except her Creator. No debt, no worry, no survival mode thinking.

Just a moment of rest, healing, and closeness to Allah (SWT).

Who We’re Looking to Support

  • The widows

Anyone in the community can nominate a mom they believe deserves this journey or a mother can submit herself

Why It Matters

Sending one mother to Umrah won’t fix the system that failed her. But it’s a start and a way to showcase that your sacrifice is not invisible. Your struggle is not forgotten. And you deserve a moment that exists outside of survival.

It’s also sadaqah jariyah. Every prayer she makes in that space, every dua, every tear, every tawaf you share in the reward of that. Even a small donation can be a part of something that changes her life forever
